'BB 19': Awez Darbar-Nagma Mirajkar In A 'Testing Period'? Open Up On Current Relationship Status

Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 19 is back to dominate the small screens. The premiere, telecasted on August 24, 2025, has already filled viewers with anticipation, as many interesting contestants from different industries and backgrounds have joined the show. Among them, rumoured influencer couple, Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, have also joined the BB 19 fun-house. However, the audience is still confused about their relationship status. Here's what they said about it on the stage. 

Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar reveal their relationship status on Bigg Boss 19

Nagma Mirajkar and Awez Darbar, made a romantic entry in Bigg Boss 19, dancing to the song, 'Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyaar Ke Charche'. After the performance, they got candid about their love life with the host, Salman Khan. For the unversed, Nagma and Awez have been shipped together for nearly 8 years, since they first started creating content together on TikTok. The rumoured couple also revealed to Salman that their fans lovingly call them 'Nawez'. 

The promo's caption, which introduced Nagma and Awez, had mentioned that, "Pyaar dosti hai, aur aisi hi ek jodi aa rahi Bigg Boss ke ghar mein!" On the occasion of the premiere as well, the duo reiterated that they share a deep friendship. However, Nagma mentioned that they are in a 'testing period' to explore if they are ready for a commitment. Awez also said that he has a 'heavy past' and does not want Nagma to struggle because of it. Nagma also mentioned that she wants Awez to prove himself as a good partner. Talking about his past, Awez said:

 “Mera past bahut heavy raha hai aur mein nahi chahta tha ye mere sath struggle kare.”

Hence, to put the curiosity of the viewers and 'Nawez' fans to rest, both the influencers claim that they are not in a romantic relationship as of yet. However, they share a deep bond of friendship and are open to commit to each other after the 'testing period'. This dynamic is going to be interesting to see in the BB 19 house, where friendships and relationships are broken and formed every day. At the end of the first episode, Nagma and Awez were also seen discussing their plans for playing the game.

Starting from August 24, 2025, the controversial show can be streamed on JioHotstar from 9 p.m. and on ColorsTV at 10:30 p.m. With a mix of actors, influencers, and even a stand-up comedian, the BB19 house is for sure going to be a madhouse with a lot of entertainment. Along with Awez and Nagma, many notable celebrities have made their way into the latest season of Bigg Boss.
