Recently, they appeared together on the couple reality show, Pati Patni Aur Panga, fuelling patch-up rumours, and Abhishek responded to the same.

Isha Malviya and Abhishek Kumar's reunion on Colors TV through the reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga sparked reconciliation rumours between the exes. The former couple and ex-contestants of Bigg Boss 17 joined the show as special guests, and not regular contestants. Their participation came as a surprise to their fans, who were of the opinion that it was a hint at Isha and Abhishek's rekindled relationship. Recently, during an interview with Telly Talk India/Zoom, Abhishek commented on the speculations.

Abhishek Kumar reacted to patch-up rumours with Isha Malviya

Abhishek has dismissed the possibility of getting back with his ex-girlfriend, Isha Malviya. He clarified that their interactions were strictly professional. He further stated that he and Isha only meet and interact for work, with no conversation between them once they are finished. He also emphasised the need not to cross the line during their interaction with each other, noting that doing so would be detrimental to both of them. Regarding wanting to keep things purely work-related between them, Abhishek said:

"Bas itna dhyaan rakhte hain ki line cross nahi karni hai, kyunki karli toh barbaad hojayenge, hum milte hain bas kaam ke liye milte hain, ghar jaake bilkul baat nahi hoti, we meet, work, and that's it."

Abhishek Kumar revealed that he and Isha Malviya received lots of project offers post their breakup

In the same interview, Abhishek revealed that he and Isha began receiving numerous project offers after their highly publicised breakup. Following their emotional and often dramatic interactions on Bigg Boss 17, the public was highly invested in their story. However, they were not in a 'comfortable zone' to work together due to unresolved issues.

Their first professional reunion came on the cooking reality show, Laughter Chefs 2. Abhishek explained that Colors TV executives played a role in bringing them together, urging them to put aside their past for the sake of their careers. Since having a proper conversation with them, he and Malviya decided to keep working together amicably, while maintaining a professional distance. Regarding that, he said:

"After Bigg Boss, we got a lot of offers to work together, but we weren't in a comfortable zone with each other due to past issues. However, when the Laughter Chefs episode came, the top people from Colors sat with us and explained that we're professionals, and we should put our past aside and work together."

Abhishek Kumar and Isha Malviya's families supported their decision to work together

Abhishek confirmed that he and Isha discussed working together after their breakup, with their respective families, and they expressed their support regarding the same. He also expressed gratitude to the people who helped them understand the importance of maintaining professionalism and taking on good projects, even if that meant crossing paths with an old flame. Sharing that he and Isha were in a 'good zone' now, he said:

"We considered their words and realised that we have been blessed to have work and be regular in our profession. We have been working for three and a half years, and it's been two and a half years since Bigg Boss, so we are in a good zone now. We discussed it with our families, and they were supportive. We decided to take the opportunity and work together, maintaining a comfortable distance and not bringing up past issues."
