Bakhtyar Irani Bashes Navina Bole Over Harassment Claims Against Sajid, 'Why Did You Go Home For...'

Navina Bole is an actress who has predominantly worked in the television and advertising industry. The actress made her debut in commercials and soon established herself in the television industry with her adorable smile and exceptional acting skills. However, it was in April 2025 when she made the shocking revelation of being harassed during a casting couch by the well-known director, Sajid Khan. Amid these allegations, Bakhtyar Irani has come forward to back Sajid and slam the actress for her comments against the filmmaker.

Bakhtyar Irani slammed Navina Bole for her harassment allegations against Sajid Khan

It was not long ago when Navina Bole made headlines for her allegations against filmmaker, Sajid Khan. It was during an interview with Subhojit Ghosh on his YouTube channel when Navina first mentioned the incident. However, it was her interview clip with Filmygyan on June 20, 2025, that left the internet ablaze. The clip from the interview soon went viral and captured the attention of actor, Bakhtyar Irani as well.

The actor took to the Instagram post's comment section and bashed Navina for her accusations. Bakhtyar Irani called the actress out for going to the filmmaker's home for the interview, and slammed her for making 'easy targets'. He further questioned the authenticity of the accusations. He was quoted as saying:

"Sorry, but why did you go home for a meeting? Meetings normally happen at offices or public places. Women of 1980s or women of 2025 then and now both always knew the basics…I am sorry, but stop making easy targets now…when did this happen? Why didn’t you come out then? With all due respect to all women, it is high time we stop giving interviews after 30 days of the incident…that much time is enough to get brains and courage."

Navina Bole responds to Bakhtyar Irani's comment

Soon after, Navina Bole also took to the comment section of the post and gave Bakhtyar Irani a crisp response. The actress pointed out that Bakhtyar should at least have listened to the full interview before making such comments. She expressed her disappointment over him questioning the authenticity of what she said, even after being her colleague. 

Navina, in the same comment, clarified that she was under the impression that the interview was taking place in Sajid's office. It was only after she had reached the address that she realised it was his home. The actress further added that she doesn't owe someone like Bakhtyar Irani an explanation. She was quoted as saying:

"It happened in 2006. Watch the entire podcast to know the details. Not that I even owe someone like you an explanation. Also, this was in response to a question I was asked regarding my experience with the casting couch. I did not call the press or initiate talking about it. So please, next time you cast aspersions on anyone, think twice. I have brains and courage, and thus spoke my truth, and I stand by it."

Navina Bole's harassment claims against Sajid Khan

For the unversed, it was on June 20, 2025, when Navina did an interview with Filmy Gyan and claimed that director Sajid Khan had once asked to meet her to discuss a project. However, when she went to meet the filmmaker, he asked her to take her clothes off. The actress revealed that when she didn't respond, the director told her that she had to wear a bikini on stage. 

In the same conversation, Navina revealed that Sajid Khan stated that it was all about the 't**ts and a**' in his language. However, she told the director that she would have to go home and get a bikini. While she thought leaving the residence would put an end to the nightmare of an experience, Navina revealed she received over 50 calls from the filmmaker asking her when she was coming back. She was quoted as saying:

"I was really excited when he called me, and then he said, 'Why don’t you just get off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I need to see how comfortable you are in your body.'"
