On Valentine's Day 2021, Babil Khan had posted a beautiful picture of his parents, Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar. Revealing why blatantly the concept of 'Valentine's Day' was disregarded in their family, Babil had explained, "I wish I could explain how much this concept of 'valentines day' was blatantly disregarded in our family because it does try to say that "abhi bhai saal mein ek din to kuch special kardo apni "Mumtaz" ke liye". Brother, I hope you are dedicating every waking second in an exploration of your loved one and not waiting for 'Valentines day'."

On Irrfan Khan's first death anniversary, Babil Khan had posted a picture of his baba, who used to find joy in simple things even when the chemotherapy burned him from the inside. Babil had written, "Chemo burns you from the inside, so to find joy in the simple things, like building your own table to write your own journals. There is a purity, I have not yet discovered. There is a legacy that has already been concluded by my Baba himself. A full stop. Nobody can ever replace him. Nobody will ever be able to" in the caption.
Wishing for the things they would have done together, Babil Khan had continued, "To the greatest best friend, companion, brother, father, I ever had and ever will have. I love you so much, for the rest of this chaos we are choosing to call life. I would have built a space monument that could have taken us to the furthest parts of a blackhole singularity you were always intrigued by, but I would have been there with you Baba, and we could have gone together, hand in hand. (Exploring the last mysteries)."
