Thama Teaser Review: Ayushmann And Rashmika's Bloody Love Story Has Mythical Touch Through Vampires

Maddock Films' Horror Comedy universe is set to bring its first love story to the big screen with the movie, Thama. The 'bloody' love story is all set to hit the theatres during Diwali 2025, and it's surely going to be a treat for Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's fans, since they are in the lead roles.

The teaser was dropped on August 19, 2025, and the 1 minute and 49 seconds has already captured the attention, garnering massive views. After Stree, Bhediya and Munjya, Thama is the new outing for the supernatural franchise. Thama is the first love story of the Maddock Supernatural Universe, and it features Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles. Ayushman will play the role of 'Alok', while Rashmika will essay the role of 'Tadaka' in the movie. At the beginning of the teaser, their intense look instantly revealed that there might be something deeper than what is being seen.

The mythical touch began to unfold as Nawazuddin Siddiqui unleashed horror through the role of 'Yakshasan', the vampire, and seemingly the antagonist. Undoubtedly, Nawazuddin is set to win hearts again, as evident from the teaser, where he turns the spotlight on himself in just 10 seconds. With a huge red coat, and obviously sharp acting skills, he, only through the teaser, hinted that he has a promising role in the movie.

The movie will also feature Paresh Rawal as 'Ram Bajaj Goyal', Faisal Malik and Geeta Agrawal. Malaika Arora will be seen performing in an item number. Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik's movie is also going to take people on a bloody ride in the world of vampires, as it seems.

Be it for Ayushmann or Rashmika, Thama is their first horror project, and through the teaser, we could get a glimpse of the splendid work they had done, which triggered our excitement to the peak.

Talking about Nawazuddin, seemingly the antagonist, he won the spotlight and hearts in just seconds. The way he delivered the comical twist by saying, 'Areh Ruk Kyun Gaye' and then flew down with his Vampire wings, it's all spooky and equally a treat for the eyes.
