Avika Gor Announces Wedding With Fiance, Milind Chandwani, 'I Will Become A Real Life Vadhu'

Avika Gor is best known for playing the role of 'Anandi' in Balika Vadhu. It was on the sets of the famous reality show, Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check that she announced her wedding to her fiance, Milind Chandwani. Avika got emotional on the sets of the show as she will be seeing nostalgic videos from her Balika Vadhu days. For the unversed, Avika's character, 'Anandi', was shown as a child bride.

Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check will showcase Avika Gor's fiance, Milind Chandwani, as her real-life 'Jagdish'

The upcoming episode of Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check will showcase, Avika getting teary-eyed when she sees her young days from the sets of Balika Vadhu. The scene will then shift to an AI version of a Balika Vadhu scene with her fiance, Milind's face replacing that of 'Jagdish'. It was on the sets of the show, during an episode, when Avika revealed that she will be getting married soon to Milind. In her words:

"I’ve grown up in front of Colors audience, and now, I want to celebrate this milestone with them too. To everyone who embraced me as the Balika Vadhu all those years ago, I now ask for your blessings as I become a real-life vadhu. This is my full-circle moment, and I’m so thankful I get to share it with the very people who shaped my journey."

Avika Gor thanks Balika Vadhu, which gave wings to her career

Avika further in the show revealed that there was something incredibly great about going back to the place from where it all began. She shared that she was filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and a sense of purpose in life. Avika revealed that Balika Vadhu taught her and many people to have the power to make decisions of life and also rewrite your destiny. She also shared of coming back to Colors not as 'Anandi', the 'Balika' this time, but as the lady who is confident of her lifetime choices.

Avika further shared that Milind has seen her grow in life and has been her strongest support system. He is also a dreamer and knows Avika's true potential. Avika shared that Milind has helped her see life beyond the roles she essays and the scripts that she follows. Avika also shared that when Milind told her of wanting to spend a lifetime with her, she called it one of the easiest things to do. The actress feels that both of them are imperfect, which helps them in growth, challenge each other and together build something that is authentic. Avika and Milind have been together since 2020.

When Avika Gor revealed Milind Chandwani had friend-zoned her

Avika, once, in a podcast by Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Bharti Singh, revealed how her boyfriend, Milind, had friend-zoned her after they had met. He had done the same for six months. She revealed about him working in a company, running an NGO and spoke on how she felt being seen as his friend. In her words:

"He initially friend-zoned me for six months. I started liking him since day one. I was very sure about him. When you know, you know. In the beginning, I also agreed to being friends. Mera bhi ego agaya ki hum toh hum dost hi rahenge."
