AR Rahman and his estranged wife, Saira Banu's separation announcement left their entire fanbase heartbroken. Following the same, several buzzes started making it to the headlines. Well, as per their lawyer Vandana Shah, Saira has decided to part ways with the music maestro from a place of pain. Amid this, reports have been rife that AR Rahman was planning to take a one-year break from his career. It was Rahman's daughter who had debunked the claims, and now, his son, AR Ameen has reacted to the false buzz that has been doing rounds.
Reports were rife that AR Rahman would take a year break in his career after his split from Saira Banu. As the issue was sensitive, everyone could do nothing but believe in the false claims. Well, recently, taking to his IG handle, AR Rahman's son, Ar Ameen, reacted to the claims. He re-shared a post consisting of an article stating AR Rahman would take a break. Atop it, he claimed the news to be 'fake' and penned that 'This is false'. Well, it means, the music maestro would continue to leave us in awe with his craft.
After AR Rahman announced his separation, a report by DT Next stated that after finishing his current commitments, the singer would take a break either of six months or one year. As per a reliable source, the singer-composer was affected by his separation and the negativity around the same, and he would take a break and return to work once he would feel it to be right. The source also added that it couldn't be determined if AR Rahman would be able to finish the work commitments which he had undertaken. Meanwhile, AR Rahman's daughter, Khatija Rahman took to her X handle and urged everyone not to spread fake rumours.
Talking to Vicky Lalwani on his YouTube channel, Vandana Shah was asked about Saira Banu and AR Rahman's kids' custody. To this, she revealed that it's not decided yet, and many of their kids are adults now. Thus, they are free to choose whom they want to. She also dismissed the claims of a huge alimony being attached to this split. Vandana doesn't rule out reconciliation either, as she added that she had never been told that reconciliation isn't possible. Vandana remarked that Saira and AR Rahman had a long marriage, and thus their decision to part ways was not a rushed decision. For the unversed, earlier Vandana, in a statement, revealed that Saira and AR Rahman had taken the decision to part ways from a place of pain.
