Anushka Sharma is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood. Despite her non-filmy background, the actress made a successful debut in the industry and gave one big hit after another. She worked with the biggest stars and filmmakers in Bollywood at a young age, which took her career up the curve. Apart from her professional success, the actress is known for her straightforward attitude and admired by her co-actors. However, in one of her old interviews, the actress revealed how she used to be on cloud nine before her debut and got called out for it by a filmmaker, which changed her attitude.
Anushka Sharma debuted in the hit film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It was produced by Yash Raj Productions and directed by Aditya Chopra. Anushka was just 19 years old when she starred as the leading lady in the film with Shah Rukh Khan. Before venturing into Bollywood, Anushka worked as a model, eventually leading her to showbiz.

We stumbled across an old interview with Anushka Sharma, in which she shared how she was different before her debut. In the interview, her fellow actor, Koel Purie, asked Anushka about the most arrogant thing she had ever done. In her reply, the PK actress admitted she used to be arrogant before she became an actor. So, she didn't speak with many people in her school and was snobbish. She was quoted as saying:
"I was very arrogant before I became an actor on screen. I didn't speak to too many people in school and all that. I was really, really like snobbish."
In the same interview, Anushka expressed her gratitude for becoming an actor. She further mentioned that filmmaker Aditya Chopra had given her a reality check. The actress said that when she was shooting for her debut film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Aditya Chopra said she was doing well but wasn't the most good-looking girl. Anushka shared that she used to believe she was the most good-looking girl, but Aditya Chopra's comments came as a reality check for her, and she got over that attitude. In her words:
"I'm really happy I became an actor. Because I really got a reality check, when I became an actor, from Aditya Chopra. He said, 'You are doing the film, but you're not the most good looking girl.' Till then, I used to think I'm the most good looking girl. In my head, I was the most good looking girl. I mean, come on! But then he told me. And I was like, 'Oh, achha (okay).'"

Anushka Sharma made a successful debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and received immense praise for her performance. She starred in successful films like Band Baaja Baaraat, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, PK, Dil Dhadakne Do, Sultan, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and more.
