'Anupamaa' Production House Issues A Statement Regarding The Fire Incident, 'No Shooting On The..'

In the early hours, the set was destroyed in a fire that broke out hours before the shoot was scheduled for the day, leading to concerns regarding the safety measures at the Film City. As the All India Cine Workers Association raises questions on the lack of protocols being followed, the show's production house, Shahi Productions, has now issued a press release sharing their side of the story.

Anupamaa's production house, Shahi Production, issued a statement on the fire incident

The fire broke out on the set of Anupamaa on June 23, 2025, around 5 am. The incident led to several questions being raised about the safety standards in the Film City. The All India Cine Workers Association didn't just question the show's producers but also raised queries about the Film City's involvement and much more. However, it was in the afternoon of June 23, 2025, when the show's production house, Shahi Production, issued a statement regarding the incident.

Shahi Production house, in their statement, shared about the unfortunate incident that took place on the sets of Anupamaa. However, they assured their fans that everyone was safe and no lives were lost. Additionally, they also clarified that no cast member was on the set at the time of the incident. Their note was quoted as:

"This is to inform everyone about an unfortunate incident that took place early this morning on the sets of Anupamaa. A fire broke out, but by God's grace, there were no casualties. There was no shoot on Sunday, and today's call time was scheduled later in the day. At the time of the incident, no unit members were present on set- only the security personnel and set staff were there, and they were all safe. No animals were harmed, and proper care was taken for their safety."

Shahi Production warned the viewers against gossip mongers

Further in the statement, Shahi Production informed their audience that the concerned authorities are currently investigating the matter. They shared that the main power lights were off, and there was no shooting scheduled until further in the day. They revealed that there are gossip mongers who have been attempting to spread false information and urged their viewers to beware of such sources. They were quoted as saying:

"The exact cause of the fire is still being determined. It has also come to our notice that some gossip mongers are attempting to spread false news and misleading information. We sincerely request that everyone not believe in any rumours or unverified stories that may be circulating. Please wait for official and confirmed updates from our side."

Shahi Productions thanked their fans and associates for their support

Shahi Productions revealed that they, Directors Kut Production and the entire cast and crew of Anupamaa are united in these tough times. They extended their heartfelt gratitude to the senior associations, industry peers, and well-wishers who reached out in support of the team. The production house further thanked their supporters and stated:
