Anupam Kher appeared on the Chalachitra Talks, to promote his film, Tanvi The Great. While being there, he asked the podcaster if he had watched the film. When the podcaster replied with a 'no', Anupam schooled him, stating that a podcaster should always be aware of the latest work of the person he/she would interview. Revealing the reason behind his remark, Anupam Kher shared an incident that occurred when he appeared on a podcast a few days ago. Anupam didn't name Raj Shamani directly, but based on the hints provided by the actor, it was clear who he was referring to. Anupam revealed that the podcaster asked him to provide advice to him. Anupam gave the podcaster advice that no one should let their success change them as a person; rather, they should always remain humble, in fact, humbler with the success they've achieved. The actor could be quoted as saying:

"He asked me, ‘If you had to give me advice, what would it be?’ I didn’t say it on my own. Then I gave him a long piece of advice. I told him, ‘Son, don’t let success change you. Success should mean becoming more humble. While you sound humble, the atmosphere in your office feels different. You’ve come from a small town, and that simplicity should remain.’"

"That means he is fake. Because you asked me for advice, and then you cut out the part I said. Whenever I hear him talk about genuineness, I’ll always question that."
