Anuj Sachdeva Gets Assaulted By A Man In His Society, Caught On Video, 'He Threatened To Kill Me...'

You might recognise actor, Anuj Sachdeva for his roles in Chhanchhan, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Swaragini, and Saath Nibhana Saathiya, among others. In recent news, the TV star found himself capturing the headlines for being assaulted by a fellow resident from his society. Anuj himself captured the proof of this assault in a shocking video and posted it to his social media on December 14, 2025. Here's everything we know about the matter.  

Actor, Anuj Sachdeva posts a shocking video of his assault

The actor revealed that he was assaulted by taking to social media on the night of December 14, 2025, to post a harrowing video. In the video, a man can be seen abusing him with intensely foul language while running and following the actor. Furthermore, he took the abuse a step further by also hitting Anuj with a stick. The video also captured him picking up the large stick from a nearby area before he started to use it to injure Anuj heavily. During the incident, the man can be heard saying, "Kutte se katwayega?" 

Following a woman's call for help, who witnessed the assault happening, two security guards came to the actor's rescue and pulled the man off Anuj. He did not stop filming and said that he had just been assaulted. It was the right move on Anuj's part not to stop the recording, as even after being pulled off, the man did not stop cursing Anuj. At one point, the man even threatened to kill the actor.  

Based on the audio heard in the video, fans concluded that the dispute occurred due to the man allegedly parking in the wrong spot and the actor reporting it. Anuj also claimed that not only did the man heavily injure him, but he also did the same to his dog, who was with him at the time. Posting the video he took as evidence on Instagram, the actor wrote: 

“I am posting this evidence before this person tries to do any damage to me or my property. He tried hitting my dog and me with a rod for notifying in the society group regarding his car which was parked at the wrong place in the society parking. Harmony mall residency. Goregaon w This person is from A wing flat 602. Kindly share with ppl who can take action. I am bleeding from my head." 

Anuj Sachdeva’s fans and fellow celebs show support and demand action 

While it has barely been a day since Anuj posted the harrowing video on his social media, many fans have already started to show him support. One of his followers commented, “Hope you are okay. He needs to be behind bars. These are the real threats to society. Please share this also on social media.” Noticing how Anuj's dog never harmed the man, another user wrote, “The dog wasn't even barking before..he barked only after this man attacked..ptani apni konsi frustration dogs k bahane nikalte hai ese log.” 

Apart from his fans, Anuj's post also saw many celebs comment and demand that a complaint be filed in the case. For instance, Bollywood actress, Nauheed, Illa Arun's daughter, Ishita Arun, and Kishwer Merchant are among those who have expressed their concern. Additionally, several of his fellow celebs have already tagged the Mumbai Police in the video and demanded that strict action be taken against the man who assaulted Anuj.
