Anu Malik Addresses Friction With Brothers, Daboo, Abu, Nephews, Armaan, Amaal, Says, 'Jigar, Jaan'

Music composer, Anu Malik recently clarified the buzz surrounding family issues with his brothers, Daboo and Abu Malik. He opened up about his relationship with his brothers and shared whether things were ugly or fine between them. Anu also spoke about his equation with his nephews, Armaan and Amaal Malik. Anu did reveal that love and closeness meant everything for their family.

Anu Malik reveals about his relationship with Armaan, Amaal, Daboo and Abu Malik

Anu, in a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, put to rest related tensions inside his musical family. For the first time, Anu spoke about his relations with his brothers, Dabboo and Abu. For the longest time, a rift existed between Daboo and Anu. Now, Anu quashed all the rumours related to the same and called his brothers- Daboo and Abu as 'jigar ka tukda' and also called his nephews- Armaan and Amaal as his 'jaan'. Anu shared:

"Daboo Malik aur Abu Malik sirf mere bhai nahi hai woh mere jigar ke tukde hai. Aur jahan tak unke bachchon ka sawaal hai woh hamari jaan hai aur hamesha jaan rahenge."

Anu did respond to the buzz related to the family issues and has now given a straight-cut response. It has been clearly understood that the affection Anu shares with his brothers, Amaal and Armaan, is the same as the affection he shares with his brothers.

Anu Malik opens up about the perception of seeing his family as always in anger

Anu, in the interview, further shared that there is always a common perception that the Malik family is always reactive and in an angry mode. He shared that someone had created a stereotype about his family, portraying them as always being seen in anger, and a term like this is how a typical Malik trait is perceived. Anu shared:

"Kisi ne bola ki unko gussa aata hai… toh maine kaha, bhai, humein gussa nahi aata. Yeh Malik trait hai. Gussa mohabbat ka hota hai. Hum log ek the, ek hai, aur ek rahenge.”

Anu shared that what people perceive as anger is actually him showcasing love, which is an essential element for a family. He shared that their journey in the industry was never smooth, especially on the professional front. Anu revealed that they share a good personal bond, as they are the sons of the late composer, Sardar Malik. Anu shared that they experienced their share of rivalry which was unavoidable.

When Amaal Mallik shared that when his dad, Daboo and uncle, Anu, met, they couldn't be separated

Amaal earlier sat down for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and revealed that the separation of Daboo Malik and Anu Malik is never on the cards. He shared that they have been like mad brothers and revealed that closeness as well as friction were a part of the relationship. Amaal revealed:

"But, in the professional dynamics and jealousy, Anu Malik can get a little fiery. They have had issues with each other on the professional front.”

He further shared that Daboo's rivalry with Anu did affect his professional front. Amaal shared that his uncle, Anu, was very competitive with his dad. Amaal shared that Anu always wanted to prove that he was better than Daboo and even tried to sabotage the career of his dad. Amaal revealed that every time his dad got a film, Anu used to go and snatch it from the producers.
