Ankita Lokhande Wishes Late Ex-BF, Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister A Happy B'Day, 'Love U Shweta Di..'

Love blossomed between Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput, while their characters, 'Archana' and 'Manav', fell in love in Pavitra Rishta. Even though the couple had an ugly break-up after 5 years of dating, Sushant's untimely demise left a hole in Ankita's life. As she recently wished her late ex-boyfriend's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, on her birthday, it seems that Ankita is still connected to Sushant's family.

On the occasion of Shweta Singh's birthday, Ankita Lokhande posted a photo of Sushant's sister and wished her a happy birthday. The actress referred to her as 'Shweta Di' and called her the 'most beautiful woman'. Ankita posted:

“Happy birthday to most beautiful woman and an amazing soul. Love u Shweta di."

Ankita Lokhande, at an event in June 2025 that celebrated the 100-episode milestone of Fauji 2, opened up about her acting journey of 16 years. Ankita, a.k.a. 'Archana', mentioned her 'Manav', Sushant and said that he was her first co-star. The actress was visibly emotional as she said that Sushant is a legend and will always be one. It is important to note that the event took place two days after the fifth death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput, which was on June 14, 2025. Ankita was quoted as saying at the event:

 “Sushant Singh Rajput mere first co-star the, aur woh legend hain aur hamesha rahenge."

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were a beloved couple of people, both on-screen and off-screen. However, they only worked together on one show, Pavitra Rishta. Sushant left the TV industry after a break in Bollywood. After a while, he also reportedly broke up with Ankita. On Sushant's fifth death anniversary, the actress took to Instagram and shared stories in remembrance of Sushant and their bond. Ankita posted a photo of them from the sets of their show, with the song Khairiyat, the late actor's last film, which was released while he was still alive.

They had started dating in 2010, and after nearly 6 years, Sushant had also revealed their wedding plans in an interview. However, in the same year, the actor announced their breakup on social media. Ankita had stated in Bigg Boss 17 that she was depressed for a long time after the split, and it took her more than two years to move on with her life.
