Marriage is when two individuals decide on taking their life ahead as partners, share every responsibility and be a pillar of strength through the ups and downs. Their role as partners strengthens when they conceive and continues lifelong in raising their little one as a team. Pregnancy is a beautiful journey and it is their partner’s support during the nine months and even after the birth of the child that makes it even more special and memorable. A man is equally responsible in bringing their child in this world and nurturing the little one. After all, it took two to start this journey! To-be first-time parents, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy firmly believe in equal parenting and she is proud of him as he never let her stand alone in the pregnancy journey. It was in October 2020 when Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had announced that they are expecting their first child in 2021 and since then, the couple has been documenting their pregnancy journey on social media, leaving their fans in awe. While Anita is sharing her experiences with her fans, Rohit is in awe of his beautiful expecting wife. For instance, Anita and Rohit had posted a couple of pictures from the maternity photoshoot and it had left us stunned. Anita flaunted her baby bump in a monokini in the monochrome pictures, and the one posted by Rohit on his Instagram had him and his wife sharing a beautiful ‘us moment’. Rohit had captioned his post as “Euphoria”.
Despite being busy with his professional commitments, Rohit Reddy makes sure to spend quality time with his expecting wife, Anita Hassanandani. Praising Rohit for being so supportive and sharing her firm belief in #ItTakes2 when it comes to parenting and pregnancy, Anita wrote in a post on Instagram, “As a mom to be, I have never stood alone. My wonderful, supportive husband @rohitreddygoa has shared the jitters, joy and more importantly, the responsibility. In his own way, this daddy-to-be has gone through a tower of books, parenting videos and even gives me the right advice just when I need it! You see, #ItTakes2 and equal parenting is something we strongly believe in.”
Before bringing their little one home, the to-be parents make a lot of changes in their home, be it baby-proofing the furniture, rearranging layouts, throwing away their own stuff to make space for their child or creating a nursery for their little bundle of joy. Anita Hassanandani had also asked her hubby, Rohit Reddy to throw away his stuff to make space for their soon-to-arrive baby. It was ahead of their seventh wedding anniversary in October 2020 when Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had announced their pregnancy. To mark the special occasion, the to-be parents had headed off to a mini-vacation with their family. Anita had shared some pictures from her ‘Babymooniiversary’ photoshoot with her doting hubby, Rohit. While Anita had radiated pregnancy glow in a super-cute polka-dotted black dress with neckpieces and a bracelet accentuating her look, Rohit had opted for a casual look. The soon-to-be parents had posed amid black, white and golden balloons. Sharing the beautiful pictures from their photoshoot, Anita had written, “Babymooniiversary. In pics you’ll also find the biggest baby.”
After Farah Khan had talked about her decision of embracing motherhood at the age of 43 via IVF, Anita Hassanandani had also spoken about her experience with people, who had pressured her to become a mother post-wedding. Reiterating that motherhood is a woman’s choice, Anita had written, “What if I had given in to the people asking me to become a mother just because I was married? Then I would be deceiving myself more than anyone else. It's so important to understand what women want out of their lives and letting them make their choices! @farahkhankunder’s heartfelt letter is another confirmation that I made the right choice to wait till I was ready.
