Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday left everyone screaming at the top of their lungs with their debut in the movie, Saiyaara. The movie, which was reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 60 crore, grossed Rs. 577 crore worldwide. After ruling the theatres for several weeks, now Saiyaara is on the OTT giant. For the uninitiated, this marks the first time YRF has released a theatrical project on Netflix, despite having collaborated on other digital content. Amid Saiyaara making waves again, let's have a look at Aneet's statement, where she talked about suffering from anxiety.
In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Aneet Padda talked about Saiyaara's success. The actress said that she would be really honest, and she actually started to enjoy acting. Aneet further claimed that only three years before the movie, she felt really anxious and that she was in depression as she had to come to Delhi, not being totally sure whether she could ever be able to make it anywhere in the industry. Aneet could be quoted as saying:
"I’ll be very honest; I started enjoying [acting] with this film. For three years before that, I just had terrible anxiety and depression, mostly because I had gone to Delhi to study, not fully being sure if I’d make it anywhere in the industry at all.’"
Aneet Padda also sat for an interview with Vogue, in which she discussed her desire to prove herself right. The actress shared that, although she has fears and doubts, her wish is to prove that she can accomplish whatever she dreams of doing. She made it resonate when she said that we all are confident in our heads, but sometimes it happens that some people are overexposed and kept under pressure, even when there is no need to be the same way.
While people in the industry are obsessed with being their finest versions, Aneet likes to keep it real, believing the main mantra should be to live, laugh, and love, even when people try to roll their eyes at you. Aneet shared:
"Proving myself right, for sure. There’s always doubt in my head. All of us are confident, we know what we want, but we’re also overexposed and under pressure, even when we don’t need to be. I have so many expectations of myself. I want to prove that even with fear and doubt, I can still do it. Those things will always be there, but they’re no reason to stop."
Aneet Padda made her debut with Mohit Suri's film, Saiyaara. Earlier, her LinkedIn profile had gone viral, stating that Aneet studied at Jesus and Mary College and holds a major in Political Science and a minor in English Literature. On her professional profile, she identified herself as a songwriter and singer. The profile also claimed that the actress was an ex HR intern at Vistara Airlines.
