Ananya Panday's Cousin Ahaan Was Born Premature, Had Hairline Fracture And Was 'As Tiny As Rat'

Ananya Panday's cousin and Alanna Panday's brother, Ahaan Panday is all set to make his debut with YRF's Saiyaara. The movie is slated to be on the silver screens on July 18, 2025. Ahead of that, Ahaan's mom and sister, recently shared some shocking details about the actor's birth. For the unversed, Ahaan was born premature, and recently, Alanna Panday, in her vlog, shared how her brother was taken to the NICU in a thermocol box soon after he was born.

Alanna Panday's mom, Deanne Panday's water broke 42 days before Ahaan Panday's birth

Recently, Alanna Panday and Ahaan Panday's mom, Deanne Panday shared the latter's birth story on the former's YouTube channel. She shared that her water broke 42 days before the delivery date. The entire family got concerned, and Alanna's grandmom called the doctor, who advised them to rush to the hospital.

Deanne Panday recalls her emergency C-section delivery while giving birth to Ahaan prematurely 

After they reached, several examinations took place, and it was found that all the amniotic fluid had drained out, leaving Ahaan to curl up in a corner. Deanne was rushed to the emergency C-section, wherein she delivered Ahaan. Recalling the same, Deanne mentioned that Ahaan looked tiny just like a rat. Deanne can be quoted as saying:

"They rushed me in for an emergency C-section. When he was born, he was so tiny — like the size of a rat. They took him away immediately, and I passed out.”

Ahaan Panday was transferred to the NICU immediately after his birth, and he was born with his hairline fractured

During the same conversation, Alanna Panday shared that her brother was taken to the NICU immediately after his birth inside a thermocol box. Recalling the same, Deanne mentioned that he was packed up in the box while being wrapped in a cloth, and she was begging doctors to take her to her then-just-born kid, despite being in pain herself. Deanne stated that she had to stay in the hospital for 10 days, and she found out how Ahaan was born with his hairline fractured and a tiny stink on his leg. An extract from Deanne's revelation can be read as:

"He was wrapped in cloth, placed in that box, and rushed by dadi and nani to Nanavati Hospital. I was kept away from him for a while, but I begged to be taken there despite being in pain and just stitched up."

Ahaan Panday is all set to make his Bollywood debut, which sparked a nepotism debate

Ahaan Panday is the son of Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday. He is the nephew of Chunky Pandey. Well, in an interview with India Forums, seven years back, Ahaan said that although his surname is Panday, he was not connected to Chunky. He further stated that the only connection with 'Panday' he has is through his dad. He further claimed that he has left a mark through his popularity on social media. He could be quoted as saying:

"It's funny that my surname is Panday but I'm nowhere connected to him. My dad is Aloke Sharad Panday and that's the only Panday connection I have. I have established myself in the B-town through my popularity."

While the context behind this old statement couldn't be found, Ahaan now shared a good bond with Ananya. Well, he is all set to make his debut with the movie, Saiyaara, which again sparked the nepotism debate.
