Ananya Panday Reveals Labubus On Her Expensive Chanel Bag Are Fake, 'No One Will Ever Know'

The internet's newest obsession are the Labubu dolls, known for their distinctive toothy smile, wide eyes and furry bodies. The price of the original dolls range from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 5500, however there are many knock-offs flooding online and offline stores that could be bought for a few hundred rupees. Keeping the trademark issue in mind, these counterfeit Labubus are referred to as Lafufus. Most people who own these knock-offs don't admit it, but Bollywood actor, Ananya Panday, surprised everyone when she nonchalantly revealed that she carried a fake Labubu. 

Ananya Panday carries a fake Labubu doll with her Chanel bag 

In a video captured by Bollywood socialite, Orry, Ananya Panday revealed that the Labubu she carries in her bag is actually fake. The actress said that one of her friends who wanted to start a Labubu business had ordered a hundred of the dolls. But she got the fake Lafufus instead. So, Ananya took the fake dolls and attached them to her Chanel bag. The actress said that the dolls were fake, but no one would notice since they were attached to her expensive Chanel bag. To note, the price of an average Chanel bag ranges from Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 3,00,000. Talking about her fake Labubus in the video, Ananya said:

“My friend was trying to start a Labubu business, and ordered 100 of them. But, she called for Lafufus and not Labubus....It is, but it’s on a Chanel bag, so no one will ever know."

Many netizens found the admission funny and were surprised that Ananya revealed having fake Labubus so easily. One Instagram user wrote, "Haha she is so chill about it..loved it", another user said, "At least she's honest". Another commenter stated, "Yes buy lafufu it's Indian, labubu is Chinese". Many other commenters also liked the way the actress so nonchalantly admitted to this and her funny quip about attaching the fake dolls to her Chanel bag.
