Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Looks Happiest As She Rings In New Year With Husband, Abhishek Bachchan In NY

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's divorce rumours were all over the internet a few months ago. However, Aishwarya dismissed the claims, becoming the first Indian actress to flaunt sindoor at Cannes 2025. Currently, Abhishek and Aishwarya are vacationing in New York with their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, and a picture of them is heartwarming.

Recently, a fan page of Aishwarya shared a picture of the Guzarish actress with Abhishek Bachchan. The two were posing with a fan, and it was from New York City. The actress was dressed up in a black high-neck sweater with a puffer fur hooded jacket and a black cap. On the other hand, her husband, Abhishek, looked handsome in a winter cap and his casual square glasses.

In an interview with Peeping Moon, Abhishek Bachchan opened up on how his 14-year-old daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, reacted to the buzz on the internet about his and Aishwarya's divorce. During the interaction, Abhishek was asked whether Aaradhya was aware of the rumours surrounding her parents' personal lives.

Abhishek stated that she's a mature girl, but she doesn't know any of it. The actor also revealed that they had not yet given her a personal phone at the age of 14. So, if her friends want to get in touch with her, they call her mother's phone. He was quoted as saying:

"I hope not. She’s a very mature girl. She’s a wonderful girl, and her mother has done a wonderful job. I don’t think she’s aware, but I don’t think that’s part of her priority. She doesn’t have a phone; she’s 14. If her friends want to get in touch with her, they have to call her mother’s phone. That’s something we decided on a long time ago."

Abhishek further added that Aaradhya has access to the internet, but rumours surrounding their family life don't interest her. Abhishek added that he doesn't think that she searched her parents' names on the internet. Giving credit to Aishwarya, Abhishek stated that she has taught her well not to believe every piece of an article. So, there never came a moment when anyone had to question anyone. He said:

"She’s more interested in doing her homework; she loves school. I don’t think she would search our names on Google. She won’t believe anything; her mother has taught her well enough not to believe everything that she reads. Like my parents were with me, we’re completely honest with the family. So there’s never been an occasion where anybody needs to question anyone."

On December 18, 2025, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan arrived together with Amitabh Bachchan. The family was present to cheer Aaradhya Bachchan during her Annual Day function at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Aishwarya Rai's mother, Brinda Rai, also joined the family, and the actress was seen tending to her.

For the event, Amitabh Bachchan radiated gentlemanly vibes in a black suit and blazer. On the other hand, Abhishek sported a blue casual outfit with red reading glasses. However, Aishwarya looked elegant as ever in a black suit, and she accentuated her look with a Banarasi dupatta. In the clip, Aishwarya and Abhishek were engaged in a quick conversation. Later, Aishwarya's mother, Brinda joined them.
