On August 31, 2025, the actress, along with her daughter, Aaradhya, was seen at the GSB Ganpati Pandal. Videos of Aaradhya going to the pandal with her mom, Aishwarya, have since gone viral. However, netizens are not happy with the hairstyles of Aishwarya and Aaradhya.

Videos have gone viral showing Aishwarya and Aaradhya, amid tight security, visiting the GSB Ganpati Pandal. They managed to navigate between a sea of devotees and took the blessings of Lord Ganesha. They smiled politely and gave the media and fans a few pictures as they made their way to the pandal. Aishwarya smiled sweetly and greeted everyone with folded hands. She looked pretty in a white salwar kameez and kept her tresses open. Aishwarya wore a small bindi and completed her look with a red lip shade and pink eyeshadow. Aaradhya, on the other side, wore a mustard yellow kurti set, but netizens were unimpressed by the hairstyles of both of them. They expected Aishwarya and Aaradhya to tie their hair while visiting the pandal.

Aishwarya every year follows the ritual of visiting the GSB Ganpati pandal with her daughter, Aaradhya. The mother and daughter donned similar open hair fashion, and an upset user after seeing the video wrote, "Kam se kam baal to band lo mandir me." Another user shared, "Ladki ke toh baal bandhte apne jesa hi banaya...yeh konsi hair style hai alltime... Ganapati Bappa Morya." There were others who spoke about Aishwarya's financial power, while some praised Aaradhya's beauty.

There have been many videos circulating of Aishwarya and Aaradhya where they were seen folding their and in front of Lord Ganesha. Well, even in the sea of a crowd, Aishwarya and Aaradhya did not fail to pose with dignity and modesty. Both mom and daughter stole the limelight with their festive outfits as well as their graceful presence. Their fans could not stop adoring both of them, and everyone celebrated their festive participation in the pandal together.

When Aishwarya Rai spoke on self-worth

Aishwarya was recently seen in the t L’Oréal Paris' latest advertisement where she was seen tallking about how social media has become a benchmark for someone to realise their self worth. She shared that people judge themselves based on the likes, comments and posts they put. She challenged the notion of external validation and shared:

"I’m worth it, but what really decides that? The kind of pictures posted? The number of likes? Or is it the comments on social media? We have given such power to these things. The power to own our worth."
