The star of the film, Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday, has been making a lot of headlines lately, not just for his blockbuster film but also because of his personal life. Recently, a social media influencer, Shruti Chauhan, sparked dating rumours with Ahaan when she wrote 'I love you', while reviewing Saiyaara. But, a source close to them has something else to say about this. 

Shruti Chauhan is Ahaan Panday’s sister

A few days ago, social media influencer, Shruti Chauhan saw Ahaan Panday’s debut film, Saiyaara, and wrote a review on her Instagram Stories, which quickly grabbed a lot of attention, and fans speculated that the two are dating. Despite all the rumours, a source close to them spoke to the Hindustan Times and clarified that the two are just good friends, and are not dating each other. The source also mentioned that Ahaan sees her as his sister. A lot of female fans of Ahaan would be very happy knowing this. The source shared: 

"Ahaan Panday and Shruti Chauhan are quite close, but they are just friends. There is nothing more going on there between them. They have known each other for a long time. And in fact, Ahaan sees Shruti as a sister. The rumours are not at all true."

Shruti Chauhan’s Instagram Story that sparked dating rumours

The dating rumours between Shruti and Ahaan started when Shruti shared an Instagram story praising, and wishing the best for Ahaan Panday. In her Instagram Story, she wrote 'I love you', which sparked the rumours. Even though, the Story appeared to be a friendly gesture, fans and media transformed it into something else. She wrote:

"The stage is yours @ahaanpandayy I love you, I'm proud of you, I'm crying, I'm screaming and I'm only wishing and praying that there is more and more to come for you! The world will finally know you and what you can do! Forever."

As of July 23, 2025, the film has managed to earn around Rs. 150 crores in just 6 days.
