Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron, found himself in rough waters after he was caught snuggling with his HR head, Kristin Cabot, at a Colplay concert in Boston on July 16, 2025. The duo, hiding their faces from the camera, sent the internet into a frenzy about their alleged affair. For the unversed, Andy is already married to Megan Kerrigan, with whom he also shares two children. While the trio has not issued any statements so far, it was Chris Martin who was seen hilariously checking whether the couples at the concert were having an affair.
The concert in Boston on July 16, 2025, was a call for scandals. A video which has appeared online showed how Chris Martin was doing relationship checks with couples attending his concert to make sure they were not having an affair. The clip showed a couple carrying a sign which read, "Just engaged! Can we sing 'Magic' together?" However, once he invited them on stage, he asked:
"Just to be clear: You're engaged to each other?"
After the couple nodded, Chris Martin once again cheekily remarked about not wanting any surprises. However, this was short-lived as he did spot Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron and HR head, Kristin Cabot, having an affair. The video quickly went viral online and has since been making headlines.
Andy Byron was attending the Coldplay concert. However, things took a turn as he was caught cheating on his wife, Megan Kerrigan, during the event on July 16, 2025. The show was held in Boston, and several clips from it went viral. Among those videos were two people who were unintentionally called out by the band's frontman, Chris Martin. The musician called out a man and woman who were seen on the 'Kiss Cam', embracing each other.
However, as soon as the camera focused on them, they quickly moved away and hid their faces. The duo was later identified as Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot. Nonetheless, it was Chris Martin's statement which further fueled the speculations, as he stated that the couple was either having an affair or was too shy. As the duo disappeared from the scene, Chris was quoted as saying:

Instead of Andy Byron, Kristin Cabot and Megan Kerringan, it was the Astronomer who issued a statement sharing that they will be looking into the incident. Taking to their LinkedIn on July 18, 2025, the team clarified that Andy has not put out a statement. They also revealed that no other member of their team was at the concert apart from the two. The statement could be read as:
"Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. Andy Byron has not put out any statement; reports saying otherwise are all incorrect."
