Aditi Rao Hydari, who is half Hyderabadi and half Konkani, has a royal lineage from both her paternal and maternal sides. From the paternal side, she is the great-granddaughter of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, who was the former Prime Minister of Hyderabad province.
Aditi traces her royal roots from her maternal side. Her mother is a Hindustani classical singer and daughter of Raja Janumpally Rameshwar Rao, the last titular king of Wanaparthy. Her family roots in Hyderabad makes her a royal princess.
Aditi Rao Hydari had her first serious relationship with Satyadeep at the mere age of 17. By the age of 21, she decided to get married to him. A few months after their marriage, cracks started appearing in their relationship and the duo separated. However, despite their divorce Aditi and Satyadeep share a cordial bond with each other.

Aditi Rao Hydari met Siddharth while working in the film, Maha Samudram in 2021. During the shooting of the film, the duo fell in love and started dating. The couple officially announced their relationship in March 2024 by sharing the news of their engagement. And on September 16, 2024, the much-in-love couple began their forever journey.
Aditi Rao Hydari's marriage to Siddharth took place at Ranganayaka Swamy Temple, located at Srirangapur in Wanaparthy district, Telangana. The 400-year-old temple is significant in Aditi’s life, as according to the Telangana government, the temple was built by the rajas of the Wanaparthy Samsthanam in the 18th century. Since the temple was built by her royal ancestors, it was significant for her family.
Aditi’s grandmother, Shanta, is the founder of the Vidyaranya School in Hyderabad. She was very close to her grandmother and Siddharth was aware of the same. In an interaction with Vogue, Aditi recalled how Siddharth proposed to her in the school founded by her grandmother. In her words:
“I was closet to my nani, who passed away a few years ago. She started a school in Hyderabad. One day, Siddharth asked me if he could see it, knowing full well how close I had been to her. He got down on his knee and I asked him, 'Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?' He kept saying, 'Addu, listen to me.' And then he proposed. He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother's blessings."
Aditi’s life is that she shares a special connection with Aamir Khan’s ex-wife, Kiran Rao. Well, Aditi’s maternal grandfather, J. Rameshwar Rao, was Kiran's paternal grandfather. Therefore, Aditi and Kiran are first cousins and sisters.
