The actor, who is not very active on social media, took to his Instagram account and posted a cryptic note. He shared a note in Hindi, which could roughly be translated to stating that he wants to be lost once. The actor added that he wants to find himself in a crowd. In the post, he further expressed how he gave away everything for his family, but now he wants to take some time for himself. He was quoted as saying:

"Main ek baar lapaata hona chahta hoon, bheed mein khud ko phir se paana chahta hoon. Jo kuch bhi tha sab de diya apno ke liye, ab zara sa waqt bas apne liye chahta hoon."

In the caption of the post, Abhishek Bachchan further penned that sometimes one needs to go missing to find oneself again. The post went viral soon after. Abhishek Bachchan has had some spectacular films since his return to the cinema. The actor has made the audience laugh, cry and fall in love with him once again. Amidst that, the cryptic post has left his fans worried. The actor captioned the post as:

"Kabhi kabhi khud se milne le liya khud se 'missing' hona padta hain."

Other than that, netizens have also been chiming in, wondering whether the post is a promotional stunt for his upcoming project or something to worry about. A user penned, "Film promotion." Another wrote, "Bro watched Laapata Ladies, I guess." A comment read, "You guys can be really unkind. Ya ya, we know Aishwarya was wronged by Bachchans, but let's give him some benefit of the doubt. Hope he is doing well. Nobody should be depressed or sad." A commenter stated, "Cut him some slack, guys, the world is slowly crumbling! Be kind."
