'Sitaare Zameen Par' Early Review, Beautifully Explains Down Syndrome With Heart-Touching Narrative

'Sitaare Zameen Par' Early Review, Beautifully Explains Down Syndrome With Heart-Touching Narrative

Aamir Khan is all set to be back in the cinema hall after a gap of three years. The superstar's last film, Laal Singh Chadha, miserably failed to meet expectations. But Aamir, who initially felt disheartened, re-worked on himself, and he is going to be back with the sequel to the 2007 superhit film, Taare Zameen Par, which introduced the concept of dyslexia (a learning disorder) to the Indian audience. Now, the sequel of the film, Sitaare Zameen Par is going to be released on June 20, 2025, and it has already left many impressed. 

Sitaare Zameen Par review

Aamir Khan hosted an early screening of the film for his close friends and colleagues. Sachin Tendulkar, who was travelling on the day of the release of the film, revealed he loved the film as it made him laugh and cry at the same time. He loved the entire team 'sitaare'. He said:

"I absolutely loved the film. The entire film and story make you laugh and cry with the entire team ‘sitaare’. I have always said that sports have the power to teach us everything. There are so many messages that have the power of bringing people together, and those are the messages you get from the film. I would like to congratulate all the actors for a job well done and wish them the best of luck for the future."

Television actress, Surbhi Jyoti also shared photos with the screenwriter of the film, Divy Sharma, and others. She then appreciated the film and stated that she is super proud of Divy for such an amazing film. Surbhi expressed her feelings after seeing the film on Instagram and wrote:

"Can’t express how happy I am. How proud I am. @divynidhisharma you are amazing. The sorcery that you do with words has made me so overwhelmed."

On June 19, 2025, Aamir hosted a special screening of his film. It was attended by the actor, who was dressed up in a white-hued bandgala. He arrived hand-in-hand with Gauri Spratt, who wore a gorgeous golden-hued saree with a contrasting green-hued blouse. Aamir's son, Azad, from his second wife, Kiran, accompanied them, and the trio looked happy while posing for the paps.

Aamir Khan's film, Sitaare Zameen Par, is directed by RS Prasanna, and it features Genelia D'Souza in the lead, along with ten debutant actors including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. The film revolved around a suspended basketball coach, dealing with anger issues, who is forced to train a team of specially-abled children. The process of training the neurodivergent adults changed his perspective on life. The fans have been lauding Aamir for touching the sensitive subject with utmost grace and beauty. The film will make you laugh and cry all at once.
