47-Year-Old Tamil Actor, Vishal To Tie The Knot With Sai Dhanshika, Amid Dating Buzz With Varalaxmi

Vishal is one of the most popular actors in the South Indian film industry. Recently, the actor came to the spotlight after collapsing on stage during a beauty pageant event in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. Just like his works, Vishal’s personal life has always garnered a lot of attention. Vishal was linked with actress, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. However, a source close to the actor has now confirmed that Vishal is all set to tie the knot with Sai Dhanshika.

Vishal opens up about his marriage plans

According to a Hindustan Times report, Vishal will be announcing his marriage date during the promotional event of the film, Yogi Da, featuring Sai Dhanshika. Vishal will mark his presence as a chief guest at the event, which is scheduled for the evening of May 19, 2025. The Madha Gaja Raja actor also revealed his marriage plans during a recent conversation with the media. Vishal was quoted as saying:

“Yes, I’ve found the person. We’ve had conversations about marriage and this will be a love marriage. I’ll announce more details about the bride and the wedding date very soon.”

Vishal and Sai Dhanshika’s wedding likely to take place at the end of August 2025

According to a IndiaGlitz report, the rumoured couple, Vishal and Sai are all set to marry sometime around the end of August or in September, 2025. According to the sources, the duo has been dating for a few years now. However, the couple has now decided to take their relationship to a new level. The big news of Vishal and Sai Dhanshika tying knot came out in public, amid the former’s dating rumours with actress, Varalaxmi.

Vishal and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s dating buzz

Sometime around 2018, the dating buzz of Vishal and Varalaxmi made the headlines. In a past interview with a Tamil daily, Varalaxmi addressed the rumours surrounding her dating with Vishal. She revealed that they are very good friends. Varalaxmi opened up about rumours around her marriage with Vishal. The actress was quoted as saying:

"We are very close friends. We share things but the reports about our relationship are all false. Actually, if Vishal is up for marriage, I am ready to find a suitable bride for him. I will be happy if he gets married. I wonder why everyone is spreading false rumours about us."

Vishal, too, addressed the dating rumours involving him and Varalaxmi. Speaking about this to a Tamil daily, Vishal said that both he and Varalaxmi are childhood friends. The actor also said that when he will be tying the knot, he will let everyone know about his bride and their wedding. The actor was also linked with actress, Abhinaya.

Vishal recently faced a health scare

Vishal recently made the headlines due to his health scare and rushed to the hospital. For the unversed, on May 11, 2025, the actor was attending a beauty pageant event as a chief guest in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, where he fainted on stage. Vishal was immediately hospitalised by his team. Later on May 12, 2025, Vishal’s team released a health update statement. The statement issued by the actor’s team stated that the cause of Vishal’s collapse was skipping his morning meal. The team also ensured Vishal’s fans that the actor is doing well.
